​Last week on Saturday we bought the following items from the money we received in preparation for the arrival of the children

1. Jerrycans for the children to use to fetch water(80 pieces)
2. Mattresses for all the children(39)
3. Bed sheets for the children(20 pairs)
4. Blankets for the children(35)
5. Posho to cover the opening of the school term

With this the children all have access to bedding and mattresses. We continue to thank God for having provided for this need that has been very urgent at the junior school. Doors for the classrooms and bathrooms are being fabricated. Some of the classrooms previously had wooden doors but they are being replaced by metallic doors. These doors are being fabricated and will be fitted in the classrooms and bathrooms later this week.

The dormitory walls are also being given a fresh coat of paint.
We continue to pray for all our partners at PIH and we request for your kind prayers for peace in our country as we are preparing for our presidential elections on Thursday 18th February and we pray that we do not get any disturbances or chaos during this time as we except to welcome the children back to school next week Monday 22nd February. We continue to pray for their safe journey from their villages back to the school.
